Children's Services

The Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia created the Division of Children's Services in its Administrative Office in 2008 to provide support for the Court Improvement Program (www.wvcip.com); to administer Child Abuse and Neglect guardian ad litem trainings; and to adminster the Court's children's programs, including:

  1. The Foundation of Justice
  2. LAWS (Legal Advancement for West Virginia Students)
  3. West Virginia Law Adventure (a mock trial script-writing program)
  4. Robes to Schools
  5. Justice Case Files (graphic novels for high school seniors).
  6. Adoption Month (November)
