1.  Kevin Alden v. Harpers Ferry Police Civil Service Commission, et al. - 32762 - The circuit court's 04/28/04 Final Order affirmed the decision of Harpers Ferry Police Civil Service Commission finding that "just cause" existed for Alden's termination from his employment as a Harpers Ferry Police Officer, but also awarding Alden his reasonable attorney's fees from 05/30/99 through the 06/22/01 pre-disciplinary hearing to which Alden was entitled but did not receive until this Court's remand of the case out of Alden v. Harpers Ferry Police Civil Service Commission, 209 W.Va. 83, 543 S.E.2d 364 (2001).  Alden appeals the circuit court's affirmation of the Police Commission's decision that his termination was justified. - Continued.

2.  In Re: Bobby Lee B. - 32771 - WV Dept. of Health & Human Resources appeals an order requiring payment for a psychological evaluation. To be submitted on briefs only without oral argument. 

3.  Maplewood Estates Homeowners Assn. v. Putnam Co. Planning Commission, et al. - 32780 - Continued to January 24.

4.  Holly D. Heldreth v. Dr. Ali A. Rahimian, et al.  - 32779 - Plaintiff appeals from the circuit court's order awarding her only a portion of her claimed attorney's fees following a sexual harassment judgment in her. Plaintiff brought her claim against defendants under the West Virginia Human Rights Act. Plaintiff seeks the full amount of the attorney's fees she originally requested.

5.  SER James William Gordon v. Thomas McBride, Warden - 32768 Gordon appeals the circuit court's 11/03/04 order denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus without a hearing. -  To be submitted on briefs only without oral argument. 

6.  Jackie L. Snider v. William M. Fox, Warden - 32767 - Snider appeals the circuit court's 06/09/04 order denying his petition for a writ of habeas corpus challenging his administrative conviction on a charge of "rape" under Division of Corrections Policy Directive 325.00. To be submitted on briefs only without oral argument.
