Great Cacapon Volunteer Fire Department, No. 19-0103 - Petitioner appeals the Circuit Court of Morgan County’s order granting the Respondent’s motion to dismiss the underlying action in which Petitioner sought to recover funds expended to cover loss of real property as a result of a fire. Continued

SER Surnaik Holdings of WV v. Hon. Thomas A. Bedell, Judge; and Paul Snider, et al., No. 19-1006 - Petitioner seeks a writ of prohibition prohibiting the enforcement of the Circuit Court of Wood County's Order granting class certification in the underlying matter alleging claims for negligence; willful, reckless, and wanton indifference motivated by financial gain; nuisance; and trespass following a warehouse fire. Continued

In re: D.J. and L.J., No. 19-0388 - Petitioner appeals the Circuit Court of Raleigh County’s order terminating her custodial rights to the minor child D.J., and terminating her parental rights to the minor child L.J. in this abuse and neglect matter. Briefs are on file in the Clerk's Office.

In re: C.W., No. 19-0505 - Petitioner appeals the Circuit Court of Mingo County's order terminating his parental rights. Briefs are on file in the clerk's office.

In re: K.M., A.R., and S.R., No. 19-0508 - Petitioner appeals the Circuit Court of Nicholas County's order terminating parental rights. Briefs are on file in the clerk's office. Withdrawn

State of West Virginia v. Christopher Mills, No. 18-1132 - Petitioner appeals from an order of the Circuit Court of Mingo County denying his motion to dismiss the indictment charging him with being a felon in possession of a firearm, to which he later pled guilty. The circuit court sentenced him to three years’ imprisonment based upon his prior conviction in Kentucky for first-degree wanton endangerment.
